Q. How does the water drain through the Turf?
A. With correct installation and due to the manufactured perforated backing of our turf products, the water will drain through into the prepared base below.

Q: What is Astro Synthetic turf made from?
A. Our artificial turf is made from polypropylene or polyethylene yarn. These materials are UV stabilised, lead free, durable and resistant to staining. The grass is woven into a polypropylene mat which is rubber backed.

Q. Does Astro Synthetic Turf look and feel real?
A. Yes we have products that are specifically designed to give a grass like look and feel.

Q. Is there any maintenance involved?

A. Our synthetic turf is protected against UV rays and is covered in our ten year warranty.

Q. How is Artificial Turf secured down?
A. Our artificial turf is pegged with commercial grade pins and infilled with dry white silica sand.  Our product can also be glued directly to the base (concrete or pavers) in some circumstances. We recommend that Artificial Turf be installed by qualified installer to insure the best result and to be covered by our Installation Warranty.  Our services include supply only of turf, supply and installation of turf, hire of turf (delivery and pickup only).
